For sports enthusiasts, the Cartoucherie green space has been fitted out with fitness equipment.The woodland paths are lined with luxuriant flora. Ideal for strolling, but also for enjoying local plant species and flower beds.Each flower bed has an explanatory panel to help you become familiar with the various plant varieties. A perfect way to combine the useful with the enjoyable. Part of the garden is devoted to wild plants and their uses, such as sweet clover, hyssop, cupid’s dart, carline thistle, teasel and woad. The Jardin du Barry pond adjoins the woodland. Swimming is prohibited there, but regulated fishing is permitted.This cool corner is home to a varied wildlife. The curious may come across grey herons, ducks and moorhens.The edges of the water feature benches and grassy spots where you can settle down facing the lake.
